ICO Online Learning Platform

Making training accessible has always been a priority at the ICO, so they have created an online learning platform which offers online trainingmeaning anyone unable to attend ICO courses in person can access invaluable teaching from industry experts via a carefully curated online programme.

A series of training videos are available to watch from expert speakers, alongside written content expanding on the detail discussed in the videos. You’ll be able to monitor your progress and see how far you’ve come before completing each session.

The courses are available free of charge for 6 weeks, after which a fee can be paid to enable access to the content for an extended period.

Over the course of these six lessons, you’ll hear from some of the industry’s leading experts and have the chance to engage with peers from festivals around the world.

Developing Your Film Festival is supported by the Creative Europe – MEDIA Programme of the European Union and the British Council.

During the following six lessons, you’ll hear from some of the industry’s leading experts in audience development to help you increase audiences for your venue or festival.

Within this, you’ll find a choice selection of case studies from organisations with exceptional experience reaching young audiences, d/Deaf audiences, and audiences with dementia.

Elevate: Introduction to Leadership has been providing film exhibition professionals with key management skills to make their goals clearer and transform the way they approach their work.

Now, with support support from The ScreenSkills Film Skills Fund, the ICO are offering Elevate Online – a FREE bespoke training experience that will accelerate your development through a holistic approach incorporating expert support, coaching and peer-to-peer learning.
