Dinas Powys Community Cinema

Community Cinema started in Dinas Powys for the first time in January 2013, when they started monthly Saturday night screenings in Murchfield Community Hall. Their second screening, Quartet, attracted an audience of 98 people, demonstrating a demand for Community Cinema in Dinas Powys.

Dinas Powys Community Cinema is run entirely by volunteers and any profit goes to Murchfield Community Association, the charity that manages the Murchfield Community Centre, to help make further improvements to the building and its facilities.

The cinema is part of a Vale Cinema Network, which helps share equipment and expertise among the county's Community Cinemas.
