Lords of Steel

Synopsis

Set in 2002, Lords of Steel will be an animated comedy film following the very real lives of residents living in the town of Ebbw Vale during the closure of the Steelworks, the area’s main source of employment and prosperity. The story will focus on John, a thirty something family man and steelworks employee, as he comes to terms with the imminent loss of his job and what it will mean for his family, consisting of wife Sian, teenage son John Jr. and live-in father John Sr. Will the loss of his job mean he has to resort to the only other source of employment… the dreaded Ebbw Vale Plastic Bag Factory?
