Julie’s Bicycle (JB) and the British Film Institute (BFI) have launched a new free Resource Hub as part of the BFI Sustainable Screen Programme.
Featuring 150 resources and examples designed to help those working ‘beyond production’ to put the principle of environmental sustainability into practice. This resource is free and available to all, will help to build environmental understanding and action, and pave the way for meaningful progress and positive change.
On the hub you will find guidance, top tips and examples, as well as links to existing resources covering:
- Scene-Setting: The climate, nature and justice crisis and the role of creativity, culture and screen
- Getting Started: Where to start in developing environmental commitment, understanding and action
- Good Practice: What to focus on across key types of screen sector activity ‘beyond production’: exhibitors; screen archives; education, skills, training and research organisations, and; sector support and promotion bodies
- Taking Action: The kind of action organisations can take in different areas from energy and travel to food and digital
