Borderlines Film Festival

Film Hub Wales Member

The UK’s largest and most impressive rural film festival springs into a second decade with its distinctive brand of the very best of worldwide cinema screened in venues, small and large, over 2,000 square miles and three counties (founded in 2003).

Bringing a diversity of film from around the world to the people living and working in rural areas of the West Midlands. Working with existing venues and interest groups – in arts centres, village halls or the backrooms of pubs – Borderlines offers an exhilarating, international programme of screenings, talks by film makers and participatory events. From the undiscovered film to the global success, Borderlines presents work that is of high quality, embraces diversity, explores rurality, promotes the local film industry and encourages debate and learning.

Borderlines Film Festival takes place in the rural counties of Herefordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire (Malvern) and Powys.
