A round-up of resources that will help you gain fundraising knowledge and skills to generate revenue for your venue.

This list of funds included a selection that FHW or Hub members have had success with in the past:

They have a whole host of small and large lottery funded grants available for individuals and organisations.

BFI Audience Fund:
The fund aims to expand the diversity of film audiences, with a focus on 16 to 30-year-olds through funding projects of national scale and significance.

Big Lottery Community Fund:
Grants for voluntary or community groups, and grassroots and community activity.

Coop Community Spaces:
Funding available to boost enterprising ideas that improve community spaces.

Community Ownership Fund: 
A fund to help ensure that communities across UK can support and continue benefiting from the local facilities, community assets and amenities most important to them.

Community Renewal Fund:
To help places across the UK prepare for the introduction of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

Creative Wales:
Funding for music, TV and digital sectors in Wales.

D’Oyly Carte Charitable Trust:
Funding for projects that aim to promote access, education, excellence, and diversity in the arts.

Esmee Fairbairn:
The foundation aims to improve our natural world, secure a fairer future and strengthen the bonds in communities in the UK.

Ffilm Cymru provides funding and support to independent cinemas, film festivals and screenings in community settings in Wales through their Film Exhibitor Fund.

Filmbank Innovation Fund:
For Community Cinemas and Film Societies. Can be used to launch projects such as special film screenings for senior or youth groups, film workshops, marketing initiatives or educational programmes in local schools and more.

Foyle Foundation:
An independent grantmaking trust that distributes grants to UK charities.

Garfield Weston:
A family-founded grant-making Trust that supports charities of all sizes across the UK.

Arts-funding trust that aims to help organisations promote, maintain, improve and advance the education of the public in the arts.

FCS Associates
The Grants and Tenders Experts have put together a list of grants in Wales and UK wide.

Heritage Lottery:
Funding projects that connect people and communities to the national, regional and local heritage of the UK.

Levelling up fund:
A UK government fund to support town centre and high street regeneration, local transport projects, and cultural and heritage assets.

Millennium Stadium:
The Trust aims to improve the quality of life of people who live and work in Wales. In particular the Trust aims to promote education, history, language, culture, music and folklore, particularly for those who face discrimination or disadvantage.

Offers grants to organisations and causes that provide transformational changes in communities in Wales and beyond.

Paul Hamlyn:
Paul Hamlyn Foundation is one of the largest independent grant-makers in the UK. They fund ideas and people, arts access and participation, education and learning and much more.

Rayne Foundation:
Grants to charitable and not-for-profit organisations across the UK tackling a variety of issues.

Capital allowance for qualifying plant and machinery assets.

Wales Arts International:
Funding for the development and delivery of international work.

They have several different funding schemes that benefit the voluntary sector in Wales, from recovery to inclusion.

Wolfson Foundation:
Supporting excellence in the fields of education, science & medicine, health & disability, heritage, humanities & the arts.

Financial support to individuals who want to expand their skills in TV, film, radio and new media.

Online Bidwriting and Budgeting Resource
Based on her tried and tested live workshops, Laura H Drane has created two pre-recorded online workshops and resources for those wanting tips and advice on bidwriting and budgeting.

Online, downloadable workshops for bidwriting/fundraising and budgeting, with life-long access to audio, visual and video learning resources.

Voluntary Arts
Work to promote and increase active participation in creative cultural activities across the UK and Republic of Ireland. They have a range resources and guides to help you secure funding for your creative group or organisation on their website.
