Raising awareness across the business sector of the imperative to accelerate action to address climate change, biodiversity loss and social injustice.

The Business Climate Emergency Network aims to share resources and information, which support declaring a climate emergency. They have developed a Climate Emergency workshop to build awareness and support those working to raise the profile of the climate emergency in companies. They also offer support and advice for engaging senior management and preparation for board meetings. They are also looking to collaborate with others to develop tools and are also pleased to support the B Lab UK Climate Emergency Playbook.

The Business Declares Network has three objectives:

  1. Network. Supporting a network of business leaders who are united in their public declaration of the climate emergency.
  2. Resources. Providing resources to help businesses set and deliver upon their Climate Emergency Plans, and collaborate with existing aligned networks.
  3. Events. To convene business leaders and provide an opportunity to learn, share and support one another.
