SYNOPSIS
In this short drama, a disruptive boy causes an idealistic young teacher to butt heads with a hard-line disciplinarian. A subtle and optimistic portrayal of the importance of classroom inclusion, this film won the D. M. Davies Award at the 12th International Film Festival of Wales, 2000. The film’s descriptive subtitles and audio description were commissioned as part of the Screen and Sound Archive’s Cymru Anabl project. While this film doesn’t directly refer to disability, its allusion to neurodivergence and championing of inclusion makes it a fine fit for the project film package.
